“Tea and Conversation” will meet for a special “Valentine’s Day” gathering at JAPC on Wednesday, February 14 at 1:00 p.m.  Hosted by Kathi Johnson, the event is for all ladies of the church and their friends.  This year we will be having a bit of lunch, chicken salad from Bucharest Grill.  Also, we've decided to add a little fun and substance to the "conversation".  We will be having a interactive discussion on historical western fiction led by Marve Adams and Kathi Johnson.  We invite you to look up "News of the World" by Paulette Jiles (Amazon or your local library).  No time?  Not to worry, summaries are also available. Make your reservation by calling the church office.

The Concert Series presents Christa Grix on Sunday, March 4 at 4:30 p.m.  Grix is equally adept as both a classical and jazz harpist and is one of those rare individuals who can make the transition from the jazz rhythm section to the symphonic string section sound effortless.  The appeal and respect her music generates had taken her throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe as an invited soloist and clinician at major harp festivals and conferences.  Admission is free so bring a friend!

JAPC will host a Blood Drive on Thursday, March 8, from 2:00 to 7:30 p.m.  Mark your calendar and plan to join us to donate and/or volunteer during this important event.  Please do not give blood at another facility after January 18 if you are going to participate at JAPC’s blood drive.

Presbyterian Women - save the date! The PWPD Annual Retreat will be held Saturday, March 24, at First Presbyterian Church of Dearborn.  The keynote speaker will be Renee Warman who is known for being a motivational speaker, involved in GLOW women’s ministries, has recorded many Christian songs and children’s ministries as well.  The PWPD Retreat is always a day of renewal to bring us closer to God and bring us closer in relationship with Christian friends.  The day is ended with a communion service.

Spring Clean-up! Volunteers are needed on Saturday,  March 17,  (9:00  a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) to get a "jump start" on Spring cleaning. If you can donate an hour or two or the whole morning, there are a myriad of tasks to be completed. While some require special expertise, most demand just a willing spirit.
